Beth Berlin Fishback

Beth photoBeth, like Elaine (her sister), was born and raised on the Peninsula, and graduated from Menlo-Atherton High School. She holds a BA in Communication Studies from UCLA. Like her sister, she was one of the first female Rotarians in the world.

Beth began her business career in the travel industry at age 8 – her parents opened Redwood Travel in Redwood City, and Beth was “in charge” of filing brochures! She honed her skills in vacation and corporate travel planning through her high school years, and was a supervisor at ASUCLA Travel on the UCLA campus during college.

Armed with her Comm Studies degree, Beth went straight from graduation to work at Chiat/Day Advertising in San Francisco. But her heart was truly in the travel industry, to which she returned after a year, and where she stayed for 18 years, managing her family’s $6 million/year travel agency.

When her daughter, Sarah, started school in Menlo Park, Beth became an active volunteer, which she continued through Sarah’s years at Laurel, Encinal and Hillview. When Sarah started at Redwood City’s public Summit Preparatory Charter High School, Beth joined the school’s fundraising foundation, where she remained active for four years, chairing the foundation for two years.

Beth is also active at Congregation Beth Am in Los Altos Hills, and taught art for 3 years in Beth Am’s Sunday Program.

In 2013, Beth started working as an assistant in Elaine’s office. She received her CA Real Estate License in 2014. As a licensed assistant and salesperson, Beth works as a team member with Elaine. They both work with buyers and sellers, and really enjoy the camaraderie and fun they have together.

Beth and her husband, Glenn, daughter Sarah (now a undergrad at Sonoma State University), their 2 cats (Sundance and Zoe) and 2 dogs (Kerry Blue Terrier, Casey and Labradoodle, Lily) lived in West Menlo Park and Vintage Oaks for 19 years. The family moved to San Carlos in 2012, where they purchased and renovated a home.
